Well done beats well said every time.

You know, we talk a real good game when it comes to economic empowerment. We talk about what we need to do, what we should do, what we can do, and even what we will do. We get together, usually in someone else’s hotel or meeting place, and discuss our economic plight and how we are finally going to take control of our economic destiny. We are tired of the White man running things and keeping us out of the game. We are really upset, this time, and we are going to leave this meeting, go home, and do the things we discussed – this time. And yet, when it’s all said and done; a lot more is said than done.Well that changes herehttp://www.newfreehelpgroup.com/

Haven’t you seen it all before? Haven’t you heard it all before? Aren’t you tired of emotionalism, feel-good speakers, rap and clap sessions, and the sheer madness of pursuing rhetorical symbolic solutions rather than implementing practical substantive strategies that will achieve true economic self-reliance? Aren’t you finally ready to do good rather than merely feel good? I know I am and have been for a long time.

Economic empowerment is not simply about making us feel good; more importantly, it is about making us do good, because well done beats well said every time. We can spend the rest of our lives getting ready to, fixin’ to, and being about to. Just look at our past and see how much time we have wasted gettin’ ready to overcome rather than overcoming. We are still singing, “We Shall Overcome.” When?

As quiet as it’s kept, we will overcome when WE decide to overcome. As our dear Brother, Amos Wilson, wrote in his book, Afrikan-Centered Consciousness Versus the New World Order, “Recognize that power ultimately has to do with a relationship between people and that the White man’s so called power is to a large degree based on the nature of the relationship he has with the Black man. We empower him by the nature of our own behavior and attitudes as a people. He cannot be what he is unless we are what we are.”

Brother Wilson continues, “We waste a lot of time trying to transform them (Whites) when through transforming ourselves they will be transformed automatically. The power is in our hands.” Don’t you agree with Amos Wilson, especially when you consider how much time we have wasted gettin’ ready?

When it comes to economic empowerment we have wasted at least 50 years, if not more. The night before Dr. King was assassinated, he was instructing us on what to do economically in order to change the relationship we had with those oppressive people in Memphis, and I am sure he was speaking to the rest of as well, no matter where we lived. Since that fateful night on April 4, 1968, instead of continuing on the path he discussed, we decided to take that other road – that road called political empowerment.

Five decades later, we have thousands of Black folks in public office, and we get so excited and hyped about that next election. But we have spent and continue to spend little time doing anything about our collective economic empowerment. Politically, we are living large, or some would have us believe. Economically, we are no further up the ladder than we were in 1968. As a matter of fact, according to the latest reports, Black households were better off in 1968 than they are now. If we could muster the same energy and enthusiasm for economics as we do for politics, we would be in so much better shape and a much stronger position to exact reciprocity in exchange for our $1trillion annual “spending weakness.”

We have had 50 years of leadership that has talked about doing something about the collective economic plight of Black folks, 50 years of leaders getting their own individual economic “thang” together, 50 years of speeches, threats, protests, scandals, and rip-offs, but virtually no progress on building an economic legacy for our children, virtually no ownership and control of income producing assets, and virtually no means even to provide the very basics of life for our children without depending on the very people about whom we complain. This does not negate in any way the progress made by individual Black business owners; many of them have done well, and I really appreciate and respect them, but collectively we have much work to do.

Our collective charge must be the business of working together to capture niches in various industries, like the Vietnamese have done in the nail salon business, and supporting our businesses a lot more than we do now. We had better start teaching our children about entrepreneurship. We had better move from the demand side to the supply side of economics. We had better start pooling our money and going into businesses that supply our sustenance. We had better take a breather from the partying, the conspicuous consumption, and the emotion-laden get-together's, and we had better start DOING things that will strengthen our economic future.

Don’t just talk about economic empowerment; be about economic empowerment. Because, well done beats well said every time!

25 Stats That Prove That The American Dream Is Being Systematically Destroyed

In the following article, posted at Prison Planet, is this statement:
"
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, median household income in the United States has fallen for five years in a row." What does that mean? Less jobs & less pay means less taxes being paid, which means less support for assistance programs, law enforcement, firefighters, etc. It will all fall like dominoes. Friends, lets not be standing where the dominos will knock us over.  We are our only hope,  let's build businesses, let's build

The 25 statistics that you are about to read are solid proof that the middle class in America is being systematically wiped out.  Once upon a time, the United States had the largest and most prosperous middle class in the history of the world.  It seemed like almost everyone owned a home, had a couple of nice vehicles and could provide a very comfortable lifestyle for their families.  Sadly, that has all changed.  In America today, prices are rising at a very brisk pace but incomes are not.  There aren't
nearly enough jobs for everyone anymore, and most of the jobs that are being “created” are jobs that pay very little.

The largest employer in America is Wal-Mart, and the second largest employer is actually a temp agency (Kelly Services).  In a desperate attempt to make ends meet, millions of American families endlessly pile up more debt, and millions of other American families find themselves forced to turn to the government for help.  At this point, more than 49 percent of all Americans receive benefits from the federal government each month.  The percentage of Americans that cannot financially take care of themselves is rising every single year, and our independence is being whittled away as we become increasingly dependent on the government.  Unfortunately, our politicians continue to stand aside and do nothing as our jobs are shipped overseas, inflation steals our purchasing power and the middle class continues to shrink.  The following are 25 stats that prove that the American Dream is being systematically destroyed

1. According to the most recent numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, 49.2 percent of all Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program.

2. The U.S. government has spent an astounding 3.7 trillion dollars on welfare programs over the past five years.

3. An increasing number of employers are encouraging their low wage employees to supplement their wages by going on government welfare programs.  For example, McDonald’s workers that need help making ends meet are being instructed to go on food stamps…
McDonald’s workers who are unable to pay their bills or stay above the poverty line should find help from food pantries or enlist in government benefit programs instead of seeking higher wages, according to a company resource line meant to help employees.

Nancy Salgado has worked for the fast-food corporation for over 10 years yet still earns $8.25 an hour, barely more than the $7.25 federal minimum wage. With help from the worker’s rights group Low Pay Is Not Ok, she phoned the company’s employee hotline, known as McResource, attempting to find some answers on how to improve her situation.

A recording of the call was made available to CNN, which reported that Salgado asked the helpline operator multiple questions regarding how McDonalds would help her pay her heating bill, buy groceries, and whether she could afford to help pay for her sister’s medical treatment.

Despite never asking how much money Salgado earned per hour or asking how many hours a week she worked, the McDonalds representative said she “definitely should be able to qualify for both food stamps and heating assistance.”

4. Total consumer credit has risen by a whopping 22 percent over the past three years.

5. Student loans are up by an astounding 61 percent over the past three years.

6. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, median household income in the United States has fallen for five years in a row.

7. Right now the middle class is taking home a smaller share of the overall income pie than has ever been recorded before.

8. Ordinary Americans are being priced out of the housing market.  Today, nearly half of all home purchases are all-cash deals.

9. The homeownership rate in the United States is now at the lowest level it has been in nearly 18 years.

10. The gap between the rich and the poor in the United States is at an all-time record high.

11. U.S. families that have a head of household that is under the age of 30 have a poverty rate of 37 percent.

12. Every single day, thousands of Americans are receiving letters in the mail informing them that their old health insurance policies have been canceled.  According to a recent Kaiser Health News article, some companies have already sent out hundreds of thousands of cancellation notices…
Florida Blue, for example, is terminating about 300,000 policies, about 80 percent of its individual policies in the state. Kaiser Permanente in California has sent notices to 160,000 people – about half of its individual business in the state.  Insurer Highmark in Pittsburgh is dropping about 20 percent of its individual market customers, while Independence Blue Cross, the major insurer in Philadelphia, is dropping about 45 percent.

13. Those that are losing their current health insurance policies will have to replace them with new policies that are often much more expensive.  According to health policy expert Bob Laszewski, 16 million people could ultimately have their health insurance policies canceled because of Obamacare…
The U.S. individual health insurance market currently totals about 19 million people. Because the Obama administration’s regulations on grandfathering existing plans were so stringent about 85% of those, 16 million, are not grandfathered and must comply with Obamacare at their next renewal. The rules are very complex. For example, if you had an individual plan in March of 2010 when the law was passed and you only increased the deductible from $1,000 to $1,500 in the years since, your plan has lost its grandfather status and it will no longer be available to you when it would have renewed in 2014.

These 16 million people are now receiving letters from their carriers saying they are losing their current coverage and must re-enroll in order to avoid a break in coverage and comply with the new health law’s benefit mandates––the vast majority by January 1. Most of these will be seeing some pretty big rate increases.

14. Back in 1999, 64.1 percent of all Americans were covered by employment-based health insurance.  Today, only 54.9 percent of all Americans are covered by employment-based health insurance.

15. More Americans than ever find themselves forced to turn to the government for help with health care.  At this point, 82.4 million Americans live in a home where at least one person is enrolled in the Medicaid program.

16. The U.S. labor force participation rate is at a 35 year low.

17. Only 47 percent of all adults in America have a full-time job at this point.

18. It is hard to believe, but in America today one out of every ten jobs is now filled by a temp agency.

19. Approximately one out of every four part-time workers in America is living below the poverty line.

20. After accounting for inflation, right now 40 percent of all U.S. workers are making less than what a full-time minimum wage worker made back in 1968.

21. Today, the United States actually has a higher percentage of workers doing low wage work than any other major industrialized nation does.

22. At this point, almost half of all public school students in America come from low income homes.

23. The number of Americans on food stamps has grown from 17 million in the year 2000 to more than 47 million today.

24. Right now, one out of every five households in the United States is on food stamps.

25. An increasing number of Americans do not even believe that they have a pleasant retirement to look forward to.  One recent survey found that the percentage of middle class Americans that “plan to work until they die” is now higher than ever. WASHINGTON WATCH: Wealth Gap Between Blacks And Whites Has Tripled

Tarhaka Amaana El Bey

Swimming in Debt Sadly: Wealth Gap Between Blacks and
Whites Has Tripled.

The wealth gap in America has been a persistent problem in this country since its founding. Over 400 years of slavery and a series of Jim Crow laws designed to restrict the accumulation of wealth and power has left the black community seeking to rebuild financially from it’s challenged past. To date, African American families have far more debt and far fewer assets than the typical white family in America.

During the recent recession, the wealth gap between blacks and whites nearly doubled, with whites having nearly 22 times as much wealth as African Americans. A new study from Brandeis University’s Institute on Assets and Social Policy says that the growing gap is part of a long-term trend in differences between wealth, debt and income levels between whites and blacks. According to the center, the wealth of whites has grown a great deal over the 27 years, while that of blacks has hardly grown at all: But there is much hope see opportunity for owning your own business go to http://www.newfreehelpgroup.com/.

In 2009, a representative survey of American households revealed that the median wealth of white families was $113,149 compared with $6,325 for Latino families and $5,677 for black families.
Looking at the same set of families over a 25-year period (1984-2009), our research offers key insight into how policy and the real, lived-experience of families in schools, communities, and at work affect wealth accumulation.Tracing the same households during that period, the total wealth gap between white and African-American families nearly triples, increasing from $85,000 in 1984 to $236,500 in 2009.

Failure to Stop Doubling of Student Loan Rates Sparks Call to Tackle "Sy...

30 Statistics About Americans Under The Age Of 30 That Will Blow Your Mind

Why are young people in America so frustrated these days? You are about to find out. Most young adults started out having faith in the system. They worked hard, they got good grades, they stayed out of trouble and many of them went on to college. But when their educations where over, they discovered that the good jobs that they had been promised were not waiting for them at the end of the rainbow.

Even in the midst of this so-called “economic recovery”, the full-time employment rate for Americans under the age of 30 continues to fall. And incomes for that age group continue to fall as well. At the same time, young adults are dealing with record levels of student loan debt. As a result, more young Americans than ever are putting off getting married and having families, and more of them than ever are moving back in with their parents.

It can be absolutely soul crushing when you discover that the “bright future” that the system had been promising you for so many years turns out to be a lie. A lot of young people ultimately give up on the system and many of them end up just kind of drifting aimlessly through life. The following is an example from a recent Wall Street Journal article…

James Roy, 26, has spent the past six years paying off $14,000 in student loans for two years of college by skating from job to job. Now working as a supervisor for a coffee shop in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles, Ill., Mr. Roy describes his outlook as “kind of grim.”

“It seems to me that if you went to college and took on student debt, there used to be greater assurance that you could pay it off with a good job,” said the Colorado native, who majored in English before dropping out. “But now, for people living in this economy and in our age group, it’s a rough deal.”

Young adults as a group have been experiencing a tremendous amount of economic pain in recent years. The following are 30 statistics about Americans under the age of 30 that will blow your mind…

#1 The labor force participation rate for men in the 18 to 24 year old age bracket is at an all-time low. For the solution to the student loan crisis go tohttp://www.newfreehelpgroup.com/

#2 The ratio of what men in the 18 to 29 year old age bracket are earning compared to the general population is at an all-time low.

#3 Only about a third of all adults in their early 20s are working a full-time job.

#4 For the entire 18 to 29 year old age bracket, the full-time employment rate continues to fall. In June 2012, 47 percent of that entire age group had a full-time job. One year later, in June 2013, only 43.6 percent of that entire age group had a full-time job.

#5 Back in the year 2000, 80 percent of men in their late 20s had a full-time job. Today, only 65 percent do.

#6 In 2007, the unemployment rate for the 20 to 29 year old age bracket was about 6.5 percent. Today, the unemployment rate for that same age group is about 13 percent.

#7 American families that have a head of household that is under the age of 30 have a poverty rate of 37 percent.

#8 During 2012, young adults under the age of 30 accounted for 23 percent of the workforce, but they accounted for a whopping 36 percent of the unemployed.

#9 During 2011, 53 percent of all Americans with a bachelor’s degree under the age of 25 were either unemployed or underemployed.

#10 At this point about half of all recent college graduates are working jobs that do not even require a college degree.

#11 The number of Americans in the 16 to 29 year old age bracket with a job declined by 18 percent between 2000 and 2010.

#12 According to one survey, 82 percent of all Americans believe that it is harder for young adults to find jobs today than it was for their parents to find jobs.

#13 Incomes for U.S. households led by someone between the ages of 25 and 34 have fallen by about 12 percent after you adjust for inflation since the year 2000.

#14 In 1984, the median net worth of households led by someone 65 or older was 10 times larger than the median net worth of households led by someone 35 or younger. Today, the median net worth of households led by someone 65 or older is 47 times larger than the median net worth of households led by someone 35 or younger.

#15 In 2011, SAT scores for young men were the worst that they had been in 40 years.

#16 Incredibly, approximately two-thirds of all college students graduate with student loans.

#17 According to the Federal Reserve, the total amount of student loan debt has risen by 275 percent since 2003.

#18 In America today, 40 percent of all households that are led by someone under the age of 35 are paying off student loan debt. Back in 1989, that figure was below 20 percent.

#19 The total amount of student loan debt in the United States now exceeds the total amount of credit card debt in the United States.

#20 According to the U.S. Department of Education, 11 percent of all student loans are at least 90 days delinquent.

#21 The student loan default rate in the United States has nearly doubled since 2005.

#22 One survey found that 70% of all college graduates wish that they had spent more time preparing for the “real world” while they were still in college.

#23 In the United States today, there are more than 100,000 janitors that have college degrees.

#24 In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees.

#25 Today, an all-time low 44.2 percent of all Americans between the ages of 25 and 34 are married.

#26 According to the Pew Research Center, 57 percent of all Americans in the 18 to 24 year old age bracket lived with their parents during 2012.

#27 One poll discovered that 29 percent of all Americans in the 25 to 34 year old age bracket are still living with their parents.

#28 Young men are nearly twice as likely to live with their parents as young women the same age are.

#29 Overall, approximately 25 million American adults are living with their parents according to Time Magazine.

#30 Young Americans are becoming increasingly frustrated that previous generations have saddled them with a nearly 17 trillion dollar national debt that they are expected to make payments on for the rest of their lives.

And this trend is not just limited to the United States. As I have written about frequently, unemployment rates for young adults throughout Europe have been soaring to unprecedented heights. For example, the unemployment rate for those under the age of 25 in Italy has now reached 40.1 percent.

Simon Black of the Sovereign Man blog discussed this global trend in a recent article on his website…

Youth unemployment rates in these countries are upwards of 40% to nearly 70%. The most recent figures published by the Italian government show yet another record high in youth unemployment.

An entire generation is now coming of age without being able to leave the nest or have any prospect of earning a decent wage in their home country.

This underscores an important point that I’ve been writing about for a long time: young people in particular get the sharp end of the stick.

They’re the last to be hired, the first to be fired, the first to be sent off to fight and die in foreign lands, and the first to have their benefits cut.

And if they’re ever lucky enough to find meaningful employment, they can count on working their entire lives to pay down the debts of previous generations through higher and higher taxes.

But when it comes time to collect… finally… those benefits won’t be there for them.

Meanwhile, the overall economy continues to get even weaker.

In the United States, Gallup’s daily economic confidence index is now the lowest that it has been in more than a year.

For young people that are in high school or college right now, the future does not look bright. In fact, this is probably as good as the U.S. economy is going to get. It is probably only going to be downhill from here.

The system is failing, and young people are going to become even angrier and even more frustrated.

So what will that mean for our future?

Hebrew or the So Called Negro - The True Hebrew Israelites

"A Moment In Black History Many Thanks To Our Forefathers, 88 yrs. ago."

This article was written by Alaska Williams who does a marvelous job of telling us about the Tulsa riots, but more importantly, tells us what led up to them and whatwe as a people are capable of. We can do it again!

A Moment In Black History Many Thanks To Our Forefathers, 88 yrs. ago.Posted by Alaska Williams February 3, 2010

The Date Was June 1, 1921, "BLACK WALL STREET"

The name fittingly given to one of the most affluent All-BLACK Communities in America, was bombed from the air and Burned to the ground by mobs of envious Whites. In a period spanning fewer than 12 hours, a once thriving Black Business District in northern Tulsa lay smoldering -- a model Community destroyed and a major African-American economic movement resoundingly defused. The Night's Carnage left some 3,000 African Americans Dead and over 600 Successful Businesses Lost. Among these were 21 Churches, 21 Restaurants, 30 Grocery Stores and 2 Movie Theaters, plus A Hospital, A Bank, a Post Office, Libraries, Schools, Law Offices, a half dozen Private Airplanes and even A Bus System. As could have been expected, the impetus behind it all was the infamous Ku Klux Klan, working in consort with Ranking City Officials and many other Sympathizers.

The best description of BLACK WALLSTREET, or Little Africa as it was also known, would be to compare it to a mini - Berverly Hills.
It was the golden door of the BLACK Community during the early 1900s, and it proved that African Americans could create a successful infrastructure.
That's What BLACK WALLSTREET, Was All About. The Dollar circulated 36 to 100 Times, sometimes taking a year for currency to leave the Community.

Now a Dollar leaves the BLACK Community in 15-minutes. As Far As Resources, There were Ph.D.'s residing in Little Africa, BLACK Attorneys and Doctors. One Doctor was Dr. Berry who owned the Bus System. His average income was $500 a Day, a hefty pocket change in 1910. It was a time when the entire State of Oklahoma had only 2 Airports, yet 6 BLACKS, Owned their own Planes. It was a very Fascinating Community. The mainstay of the Community was to educate every child. Nepotism was the one word they Believed in. And that's what we need to get back to. The main thoroughfare was Greenwood Avenue, and it was intersected by Archer and Pine Streets. From the First Letters in each of those Three Names you get G.A.P. And that's where the renowned R and B Music Group The GAP Band got its name. They're From Tulsa.
BLACK WALLSTREET was a prime example of the typical, BLACK Community in America that did businesses, but it was in an unusual location.
You See, At The Time, Oklahoma was set aside to be a BLACK and Indian State. There were over 28 BLACK Townships there. One third of the People who traveled in the terrifying "Trail of Tears" alongside the Indians between 1830 and 1842 were BLACK People. The Citizens of this proposed Indian and BLACK State Chose A BLACK Governor, A Treasurer from Kansas named McDade. But the Ku Klux Klan said that if he assumed Office that they would Kill Him within 48 hours. A lot of BLACKS owned Farmland, and many of them had gone into the Oil Business.
The Community was so tight and Wealthy because they traded Dollars hand-to-hand, and because they were dependent upon one another as a result of the Jim Crow Laws.

It was not unusual that if a Resident's Home accidentally Burned down, it could be rebuilt within a few weeks by Neighbors. This was the type of scenario that was going on Day-to-Day on BLACK WALLSTREET.

When BLACKs intermarried into the Indian Culture, some of them received their promised '40 Acres and A Mule' and with that came whatever Oil was later found on the Properties.

On BLACK WALLSTREET, A lot of Global Business was conducted, The Community flourished from the Early 1900s until June 1, 1921. That's when the Largest Massacre of Nonmilitary Americans in the History of this Country took place, and it was lead by The KU KLUX KLAN. Imagine walking out of your front door and seeing 1,500 Homes being Burned. It must have been amazing.

Survivors we interviewed think that the whole thing was planned because during the time that all of this was going on; White Families with their children stood around the borders of their Community and watched The Massacre. The looting and everything -- much in the same manner they would watch a Lynching. The Riots weren't caused by anything Black or White. It was caused by jealousy. A lot of White Folks had come back from World War I and they were poor. When they looked over into The BLACK Communities and realized that BLACK Men who Fought in The War had come, Home Heroes that helped trigger the destruction. It cost the BLACK Community everything, and not a single dime of restitution--No Insurance Claims--has been awarded the victims to this day. Nonetheless, they rebuilt. We estimate 1,500 to 3,000 People were Killed and we know that a lot of them were Buried in Mass Graves all around the City. Some were thrown into the river. As a matter of fact, at 21st Street and Yale Avenue, where there now stands a Sears Parking Lot, that corner used to be a Coal Mine. They threw a lot of the Bodies into the Shafts. Unmarked Graves TULSA, Oklahoma (CNN)

Beulah Smith and Kenny Booker, Two Elderly Oklahomans, Lived through one of the Worst Race Riots in U.S. History, a rarely mentioned 1921 Tulsa Blood Bath that officially took Thousands of African-American Lives.

The Tulsa Race Riot Commission, formed two years ago to determine exactly what happened, will consider next week the Controversial Issue of what, if any, Reparations should be paid to the Known Survivors of the Riot, A Group of less than 100 that includes Beulah Smith, now 92, and Kenny Booker, 86.

'The Gun Went Off, The Riot Was On'

On the Night of May 31,1921, mobs called for the lynching of Dick Rowland, A Black Man who shined shoes, after hearing reports that on the previous day he had assaulted Sarah Page, A white woman, in the elevator she operated in a downtown building.

A Local Newspaper, had printed a Fabricated Story that Rowland tried to Rape Page. In An Editorial, the same newspaper said a Hanging was Planned for that Night. As Groups of both Blacks and Whites converged on the Tulsa Courthouse, a White Man in the Crowd Confronted an armed Black Man, A War Veteran, who had joined with other Blacks to protect Rowland.
A Fabricated Newspaper Story Triggered The Violent Riots that left Hundreds, if not Thousands, Dead. Comm. Member Eddie Faye Gates told CNN what happened next. "This White Man," she said, Asked The Black Man,"What Are You Doing With This Gun?" "I'm going to use it if I have to," the Black Man said, according to Gates, "and (the White Man) said, 'No, you're not. Give it to me,' and he tried to take it. The gun went off, the White Man was Dead, The Riot Was On." Truckloads of Whites Set Fires and Shot Blacks on sight. When the smoke lifted the Next Day, more than 1,400 Homes and Businesses in Tulsa 's Greenwood District, a prosperous area known as the"Black Wall Street," lay in ruins.

Today, only a single block of the Original Buildings remains standing in the area. Experts now estimate that at least 3,000, Died.

'We're in a heck of a lot of trouble' Beulah Smith was 14 yrs. old the Night of the Riot. A Neighbor named Frenchie came pounding on her family's door in a Tulsa neighborhood known as "Little Africa" that also went up in flames. "Get your families out of here because they're, Killing Niggers Uptown," she remembers Frenchie saying. "We hid in the weeds in the Hog Pen," Smith told CNN. People in a Mob that came to Kenny Booker's house asked, "Nigger, Do You Have A Gun?" he told CNN. Booker, then a teen-ager, hid with his family in their attic until the home was torched. "When we got downstairs, things were burning. My sister asked me, 'Kenny, is the World on Fire?' I said, 'I don't know, but we're in a heck of a lot of trouble, baby."
Another Riot Survivor, Ruth Avery, who was 7 at the time, gives an account matched by others who told of bombs dropped from small airplanes passing overhead. The Explosive Devices may have been Dynamite or Molotov Cocktails -- Gasoline-Filled Bottles set afire and thrown as grenades.

"They'd throw it down and when it'd hit, it would burst into flames," Avery said. Only A single block remains of the 1,400 Homes and Businesses that made up the area known as the 'Black Wall Street'. Unmarked Graves many of the Survivors "mentioned Bodies were stacked like cord wood, says Richard Warner of the Tulsa Historical Society.

In its search for the facts, The Commission has literally been trying to dig up the truth. Two Headstones at Tulsa's Oaklawn Cemetery indicate that riot victims are buried there. In an effort to determine how many, archeological experts in May used ground-piercing radar and other equipment to test the soil in a search for Unmarked Graves. The test picked up indications that hundreds, of people have been buried in an area just outside the cemetery. For the power and money to rebuild go tohttp://www.newfreehelpgroup.com/
